As he seeks to right what went wrong in those lives, he “jumps” into different lives while hoping that each jump is a jump home.

The series' cast also included Caitlin Bassett, Ernie Hudson, Mason Alexander Park, and Nanrisa Lee. Steven Lilien and Brian Weinbrandt developed the series and serve as executive producers alongside Martin Gero via Quinn's House, Dean Georgaris, Deborah Pratt, Chris Grismer, and Alex Berger. Universal Television was the studio. Giroux and Georgaris served as co-contestants.

“Quantum Leap” premiered on NBC in September 2022. It was renewed for a second season in December of that year. Season 2 launched in October 2023, with the season finale airing in February. It will now serve as the series finale.

Recently, NBC announced that it has renewed “Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago PD,” “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: SVU” for the 2024-2025 season. A decision is still pending on “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” starring Christopher Meloni. New dramas “Found” and “The Irrational” were renewed for a second season in November.
