Nvidia's annual GTC conference begins on Monday, and the start of the conference will be a keynote speech from CEO Jensen Huang. The semiconductor company, which has seen its shares rise 83% in 2024 and 250% over the past 12 months, is expected to unveil some of its biggest products, including new artificial intelligence offerings. Alphabet shares rose 6.9% thanks to a report from Bloomberg that said Apple was in discussions with Google about a deal to use the Gemini artificial intelligence engine in the iPhone. Apple shares rose 2.1%.

Nuvei stock rose 26% after The Wall Street Journal reported that the Canadian payments processor, which is backed by actor Ryan Reynolds, is in talks with private equity firm Advent International about a buyout. Novi said in a statement that its board of directors formed a special committee to evaluate and study “the expression of interest that the company received.” Nuvei said it “also confirms that it is engaged in discussions with certain third parties regarding a potential transaction involving continued significant ownership by certain holders of multiple voting shares, including Phil Faier, Nuvei's founder, chairman and chief executive officer.”
HashiCorp shares rose 8.7% after a report said the software infrastructure company was considering options including a sale. HashiCorp worked with a financial advisor in recent months to gauge interest from potential buyers, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Tesla shares jumped 4.8% after the electric car company said it had raised the price of all of its Model Y cars in the United States by $1,000 at the end of the month.

It plans to launch the new brand within the next month. The price of the cars will range from 100,000 yuan to 150,000 yuan, or about $14,000 to $21,200, according to XPeng's official WeChat account, Dow Jones Newswires reported, the company's chairman and CEO said over the weekend.
Logitech International stock fell 7.4% after the provider of computer peripherals, video game peripherals and video conferencing devices announced the resignation of Chief Financial Officer Charles Boynton and confirmed its outlook for the fiscal year.
PepsiCo stock rose 4% to $171.23 after shares of the beverage and snack company were raised to Overweight from Equal Weight at Morgan Stanley with a price target of $190.
Science Applications International fell 11% after reporting fourth-quarter adjusted fiscal earnings that beat analysts' estimates and a 12% drop in revenue to $1.74 billion, partly due to the sale of the company's logistics and supply chain management businesses.
