Richard Simmons’ team shares final finished post on social media

Richard Simmons continues to spread love as fans mourn his passing.

One week after his death, the late fitness guru’s team shared a pre-approved post that Simmons had prepared before he passed away at the age of 76 on Saturday, August 13, at his home in Los Angeles.

“Richard worked so hard on his posts for you,” Simmons’ team shared on his personal Facebook page Saturday. X “He had so many ideas he was working on in advance… he would go back to each one and make adjustments until it was exactly what he wanted before publishing.

“As you know, on the weekends, he would share a photo with a caption. He would always have his photos selected and captioned for the upcoming weekend by Friday. So, here’s the post Richard planned to share with you last Sunday. We thought you might like to see it,” Added.

The team then participated in Simmons’ planned July 14 post, picture A photo of him wearing a NASA spacesuit, standing in front of a backdrop of red rocks. The caption reads: “Let me fly you to the moon so we can stargaze. Love, Richard.”

Simmons died one day after his 76th birthday. His body was discovered by his housekeeper, who called the Los Angeles Police Department to his Hollywood Hills home, where Simmons is believed to have died of natural causes.

Shortly before his death, Simmons thanked his fans for their birthday wishes. He wrote on his Twitter page: “Thank you… I’ve never received so many birthday messages in my life! I’m just sitting here typing emails. Have a great Friday.” X.

Simmons’ last post was a photo of himself impersonating Barbra Streisand. “Hello beautiful! Please don’t ruin my day,” he said. books.
