Rumer Willis shares updates on her love life and father Bruce Willis’ health.
During an uncensored AMA session shared on her Instagram Stories, Willis was asked how her father was doing after being diagnosed with dementia. She was asked, “How’s your dad? Sending you all my love.”
“It’s great. I love it so much. Thank you,” Willis replied.
She was then asked if she and her boyfriend, Derek Richard, were still together and raising their one-year-old daughter, Louetta.

“Are you and Derek still a couple?” one fan asked.
“No, I’m a single mom and I’m raising my kids together,” she replied. “I’m so grateful to have Lou. She’s the best thing in my life and I’ll forever be grateful that I was able to make time for her in that relationship so she could come into my life.”
“I am a single mom and I am raising the kids together.”
During an Instagram Q&A, Willis said she doesn’t regret having a home birth and plans to do it again. She’s also open to having more children as a single mom.
“This was the best decision I ever made for me and Louie, and I would definitely do it again,” Willis wrote.
She then talked about the possibility of being open to the idea of having more children as a single mother.
“Definitely because having siblings is one of the best parts of my entire life,” she wrote before acknowledging her sisters and half-sisters Bruce and her husband Emma Heming Willis. “Scout, Tallulah, Mabel and Evelyn are my best friends and my favorite people and I want that for Lou. So I’m open to whatever that looks like in the future.”
In May, Romer shared with Fox News Digital that being a mother is “rewarding.”

“Honestly, everything is rewarding. She’s my best friend. I’ll be away from her for an hour, and I miss her,” Willis said at the time.
The actress admitted that she suffers from lack of sleep, not because of Loita but because of her personal experience of transitioning into motherhood.
“I feel like once you get pregnant, maybe in the second or third month, you start to get a little bit sleepy, and your body prepares you to be more alert. I don’t think I ever get back into the deep sleep zone,” she said. “She’ll be asleep all night, and I’ll be like, ‘What’s going on? Is there something wrong?’”

“But I’m so lucky, and I feel so blessed. I know not everyone has the same positive, sweet experience of motherhood that I have. Louetta is the most amazing baby. She’s happy, she’s adorable, she’s smiling, she’s cheerful all the time,” she added.
She also shared some of the highlights of Luita’s life.

“She has four teeth. She eats like a champ. This baby loves food, she wants to try everything, she’s not picky. She almost walks, which is crazy. She knows how to get out of bed by herself, which is so impressive. She says, ‘Mama,’ and she just started kissing me the other day. She says, ‘Mwah,’ and I’m like, ‘I’m melting. I’m on the floor in a puddle of water,” Willis explained.
