on Observer Wrestling RadioDave Meltzer hypothesized that WWE made John Cena heckle WrestleMania London for two reasons: (1) to make a statement after AEW’s impressive ticket sales for All insince Meltzer is certain WWE can sell out two nights at Wembley Stadium and break any AEW gate record, and (2) create demand and influence London to pay to bring WrestleMania there, as Cardiff did for Clash in the castle And Puerto Rico did to backlash.
Someone “high-ranking” in WWE creatives was “afraid” that the game was over Money in the bankThe main event, according to wrestling. The Twitter account added, “There was a strong argument that Reigns should not be pinned prior to losing the title throughout the process.”
Regarding their previous rumors about Brock Lesnar’s return at Money in the bankWrestleVotes said plans changed prior to the show and with Cena & Drew McIntyre debuting in WWE they decided to contract Lesnar to raw.
Another rumor killer, this time off the talk, WWE considered giving Zelina Vega a Money in the Bank spot for Charlotte Flair: Choose a fight He says they checked their sources and “were told there was no serious consideration for that and that Charlotte’s design had been planned for a while.”
Triple H has met up with some unnamed talent that he hopes to sign Money in the bank weekend, per BWE. The Twitter account says they heard the meeting went well.
There was speculation online about Jade Cargill’s AEW future when she was chirp about enjoying life so “outside the wrestling bubble” that it “might” stay there. After losing in Double or nothingAnd Choose a fight Reported plans for Cargill to return from some time called for a “character shift”.
