Caleb Willingham, who appeared on Reality TLC’s “1000-Lb. “Sisters,” as the husband of co-star Tammy Slaton, has passed away at the age of 40. The news was confirmed by his stepmother, who did not give a reason or other details.
Caleb, known by the nickname “Killa K” or “Double K”, was estranged from his wife at the time of his death.
The TLC show focuses on Amy and Tammy Slaton, sisters who have a combined weight of over 1,000 pounds. The drama of the show details their efforts to lose weight.
Willingham and Tammy Slaton are first introduced during their 14-month rehab period. She was there trying to lose weight for bariatric surgery. Caleb was at the bariatric facility.
The two married in the fall of 2022 in Ohio. Fans of the hit TLC series witnessed the couple’s wedding during the season 4 finale, which aired in March 2023.
“Our wedding day was perfect, there was so much love in the room,” Slaton said he told people in january. “I literally married my best friend.”
The couple reportedly parted ways in May. Details of the “why” are not clear.
