Jackass alum Steve-O has been revealed as… New interview with Consequences He canceled a plan to get temporary breast implants for hidden camera scenes he was planning to film for his upcoming live tour, the Super Dome Tour. The idea was for Steve-O to make himself look like a woman and then fool groups of men on the street.
“I was 10 hours away from surgery,” Steve-O said. “The surgery was supposed to be done at 8 a.m. The night before, at 10 p.m., I got a call saying that the anesthesiologist had backed out because he found out I was doing it as a prank. That set off a chain reaction where the doctor didn’t want to be involved anymore, and they were having a hard time finding another surgical center to do the surgery.”
The next day, Steve-O is at a grocery store, and the clerk examining him is transgender, so he reveals his grand plan to get breast implants to see if the clerk is comfortable with it. One idea was for Steve-O to get breast implants and then shave his body hair and remove his tattoos so he could go to a motorcycle rally and flirt with guys, only to take off his helmet and reveal that he is actually a man.
“I knew what my motivation was, I knew what my intention was, and it wasn’t to hurt anybody,” Steve-O said. “I was just trying to get a laugh. I did a bunch of workshops to test the material, and I had a bunch of trans people come up to me after the shows to show their support. [the stunt]“I think some people would have accepted that, and some people wouldn’t. It would have had mixed results.”
The employee fell into the latter category and said, “The part where I went out and deliberately tricked people into thinking I was a woman and then tricked them, and then celebrated the idea of hatred towards them was unbelievable.” [trans people] —That was it. [bad] something.”
Additionally, the employee described “how they weren’t allowed to use the bathroom at their workplace, how there were about 28 states in the country that would arrest them simply because they had an ID card that said ‘female.’ And there were politicians who were making a concerted effort to imprison them in concentration camps. It was really heartbreaking, the level of oppression that was described.”
At that point, Steve-O decided not to go through with his plan to get breast augmentation, because “it was like, I thought about it in a way I hadn’t thought about before, where you know, oh my god, maybe it’s not all fun and games. Especially pranks.”
Steve-O originally announced his plans to get a breast augmentation in July. The “Jackass” star will be bringing “The Super Dummy Tour” to theaters across the U.S. this fall. Head over to Consequence site To read the full interview.
