Super Bowl LVIII halftime headlines show
Usher celebrated both his past and present when he headlined the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show tonight (February 11) at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
The R&B singer headlined the concert with a troupe of dancers and special guests, performing some of his biggest hits from the past two decades, in between one of the most exciting games in recent memory.
Taylor Swift was there with friends including Blake Lively and Lana Del Rey to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, for the Kansas City Chiefs, as his team beat the San Francisco 49ers in overtime. The pair shared a kiss worthy of a rom-com after the Chiefs scored a goal and won the game.
Meanwhile, Del Rey was “trampled” after suffering a fall as VIP guests celebrated the leaders' victory, which was attended by other famous faces including Sir Paul McCartney and Leonardo DiCaprio.
It was a successful night for the Chiefs — and Swift's PR machine — but Kelce faced criticism after he pushed his Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid in an angry exchange.

Ryan Gosling can be seen crying in his car to Taylor Swift's song “All Too Well” in a new trailer for his new movie. Scapegoat.
The upcoming action comedy is based on the 1980s TV series of the same name, and stars Gosling as stuntman Colt Sievers (originally played by Lee Majors).

So, how did Asher fare? Reviews are in…
In his review of The IndependentCritic Mark Beaumont described Usher's halftime show as “a fun, half-memorable mess”, praising the spectacle of the ice skating dancers but noting that it failed to live up to its potential.
Despite the smooth R&B smoothness of the opening verse (“Caught Up,” “U Don’t Have to Call,” and a snippet of “Superstar”), he was left a little breathless by a bout of gentle grooving with his stick. “Rotating fellas,” the review said.
“None of his tunes ever land, and for something so huge in terms of budget, the whole thing starts to feel disappointingly clubby.”

Usher wows fans with quick changes in Super Bowl halftime show performance
How many clothes did Asher wear? If you were watching, you were probably impressed by the amount of costume changes that occurred throughout the 15-minute show.
The 45-year-old wore a white suit topped with a gem-encrusted coat for his big moment, quoting Michael Jackson while wearing white crystal-covered gloves and a huge crystal brooch on his jacket.
He then removed his jacket to reveal a shiny silver sleeveless shirt, he then peeled back the layers to reveal a simple tank top before going completely shirtless.
