Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ… that the actor/director is building Josephine Wright A five-bedroom house in South Carolina to replace the house she lives in with her grandchildren is also at the heart of a bitter land dispute.

We’re told a Tyler construction crew will break ground on the home in the coming weeks, once all permits are finalized.

Billy Point reportedly wanted to buy Wright’s land on Hilton Head, but didn’t want to give it up because it had been in her family for generations…and then BP filed suit to seize her property.

Wright told the news outlet, WSAV-TV, how BP got approval from the city to develop 29 acres of land behind her house… and says she turned down an offer to buy her house. Once Wright refused, she claims BP began harassing her, leading to a lawsuit to seize property she says had belonged to her family since the Civil War era.
