Golden State Billionaire!

The winner of Powerball's second-largest jackpot of $1.765 billion was revealed on Friday — five months after the drawing that changed his life.

Theodoros Struik was named as a representative of the group that purchased the $1 billion ticket at a market in Frazier Park, California, for the October 11 drawing. California Lottery announced.

The new billionaire was described as being 65 years old and residing in a mountain town of about 3,000 people and living only 500 yards from the store. According to Kigit.

“He adores his grandchildren,” Struik’s neighbor, Mary Dreyer, told the outlet. “He's a real pleasure to be around. I noticed yesterday that he had put up a sign: No Trespassing.”

Struik's location was unknown at the time of the announcement, and some of his and some neighbors would not share it if they knew.

“If I knew I wouldn't tell you,” Rick Kotnik told the outlet with a laugh, as the two often talked about fishing.

The number of people who were part of the group that received the huge winnings has not been revealed.

The group can receive $1.765 billion in 30 payments over 29 years or choose a one-time cash payment of $774.1 million.

In the Golden State, the winner's full name and the name and location of the company that sold his or her lucky ticket must be disclosed.

The winning numbers were 22, 24, 40, 52, 64, and the red Powerball ball was 10.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are an astronomical 1 in 292,201,338.

The historic $1.765 billion jackpot came in the 36th drawing of a Powerball drought that generated $18 million in commissions and bonuses during the historic three-month jackpot period.

The win “allowed the California Lottery to raise an additional $119.5 million for public schools,” according to the lottery.

California Lottery Director Harjinder K. said: Shergill Cheema: “Announcing big wins like these gives all our players the opportunity to hope and dream that they could be next.”

“It also gives us an opportunity to highlight our amazing mission, which is to generate additional, supplemental funding for public education in California. So, it's students of all ages across the state who win every day thanks to our players, and our retail partners who sell these fun games.” “And our hard-working staff here at the Lottery. This is an exciting day for all of us!”

Family-owned Midway Market, located 75 miles north of Los Angeles in Kern County, took home $1 million for being the store that sold the winning ticket.

Employees at the time believed that the historic jackpot winner was one of the store's regulars that played the lottery frequently. Calories

“I didn't even believe it at first. “I think this might be the biggest thing that's ever happened in Frazier Park,” owner Nidal “Andy” Khalil told The Post in October. “I hope he's one of my regular customers because we have a few people buying tickets every day.”

The $1.765 billion win was $28 million less than Edwin Castro's historic win of $2.04 billion in November 2022.

Castro was announced as the ticket holder of the National Lottery's biggest prize and has since added to his impressive real estate portfolio while purchasing several vehicles including a vintage green Porsche.
