Country singer Zach Bryan was arrested on Thursday night in Oklahoma, according to US media CNN affiliate KJRH And a post by the singer on social media.

Brian “was arrested in Vinita Thursday night on charges of obstructing the investigation, and he walked out of the Craig County Jail about an hour and a half after being booked,” KJRH reported.

It is unclear what the obstruction of investigation violation refers to in this case. Oklahoma law states that it is a misdemeanor when someone “willfully delays or obstructs any public employee in the performance of his or her office or the attempt to perform any of his or her duties.”

CNN has reached out to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Craig County Sheriff’s Office for information.

“Today I was in an accident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line with what I said. I support law enforcement as much as anyone can,” the singer said. “I was frustrated in that moment. It was different for me and I I apologize”.
