Priding itself on being Brighton’s “first and only Mexican owned restaurant”, Carlito Burrito is popular amongst locals to get their fix of fresh Mexican food. With a huge selection of street food, light bites and a burrito bar, you’re sure to find something you’ll like in this cosy eatery. They even offer mini burritos and quesadillas for the little ones!

2. Dos Sombreros @ Ship Street

Dos Sombreros aims to serve Brightonians authentic tasting Mexican food, accompanied by creative cocktails. 5. La Choza @ Gloucester Road

Arguably Brighton’s favourite burrito joint, La Choza is centrally located in the heart of the North Laines. Their selling point is vibrant Mexican street food, with the interior focusing on flowers, skulls and bright bunting. Though small, the intimate atmosphere inside is lovely. La Choza serve up a variety of slow-cooked Mexican food, aiming to keep as authentic as is possible.
