Best Vintage Shops in Brighton

One of the New Year’s Resolutions Bjournal suggested was to shop more locally this year. We are very lucky to have so many fantastic local shops, particularly vintage shops so here are just some of the best vintage shops in Brighton.

Beyond Retro: This warehouse-style store has thousands of items from eras ranging from the 1900s through to the 1990s. This store is the go-to place for one-of-a-kind on trend pieces.

Dirty Harry: The American style vintage shop is always on trend and the big with residents and tourists alike. From cowboy boots to army surplus, there’s something here for everyone.

Era: Want to make your home truly unique? Then head down to Era for vintage, retro and mid-century furniture. They also source and refurbish the furniture back to its original beauty to make your home perfect.

Frames in the Lanes: Specsavers is so overrated. Grab some vintage frames from Frames in the Lanes. They also offer a sourcing service and all frames can be fitted with prescription lenses.

To Be Worn Again: So popular there’s two of them, To Be Worn Again is the biggest vintage and second-hand clothing company in Brighton and Hove, offering both men an women’s clothing the store is always great for discounts.

Wolf & Gypsy: Named one of Britain’s best vintage shops by Company magazine, Wolf & Gypsy sells the best of high quality vintage clothing. Stocking clothing from eras ranging from the 1920s to the 1980s, Wolf & Gypsy is a beautifully presented vintage shop.

The Vintage Workshop: An interesting mix of antique and vintage collectables presented alongside some incredible handmade one-off pieces. Situated in Kemptown, this place is perfect to find that special item.

The Retro Station: To make your home that little bit quirkier, head to The Retro Station. The Retro Station deals with a wide variety of interior design ideas, offering everything from vintage to up-cycled furniture and homewares. This is the great place to go for an item that brings a bit of fun into your home.
