Sit down, close your eyes and start listening to your body! It’s hard to come up with another place in the country where yoga is as popular as here in Brighton. If you have always wanted to give it a go but never actually made it to a class, then this is your chance! The Brighton Yoga Festival will take place at the Sussex County Cricket Ground in Hove this weekend, giving you the chance to discover everything yoga related!
Running over two days, the festival unites a huge number of yoga and meditation teachers as well as experts on nutrition. As every year, there will be plenty of opportunities to try out exciting new classes and exchange with seasoned yogis. Organisers have announced that the weekend will also see a great number of specialist classes.
Taking place for the fourth year in a row, the Brighton Yoga Festival is the UK’s largest free yoga event. In recent years, it has welcomed between 1,000 and 5,000 visitors. This year’s event set to be the biggest ever as it is running for two days for the first time.
Doors will open at 9.45 am on Saturday and Sunday, July 8 and 9, at the Sussex County Cricket Ground in Hove. To avoid the queues at the entrance, you can register for speedy entry in advance. The festival is open for everyone to join and the entry is free.
