Brighton Festival is holding a drop-in session for anyone interested in volunteering at this year’s event.
Members of staff from various Brighton Festival departments will be meeting interested volunteers on Thursday 2 March from 6pm – 8pm at the Brighton Dome Café-bar.
Roles include marketing, press, artistic planning, creative learning and Visitor Services.
There will be opportunities for volunteers to work weekdays and weekends, daytimes and evenings throughout April and May.
Brighton Festival announced their programme last month.
The festival’s theme ‘Everyday Epic’ was chosen by Guest director Kate Tempest who said she hoped the festival events will bring people together during a “particularly precarious time”.
Events include a performance taking place at sea and a virtual reality film shot in the Australian desert.
The three-week Festival runs from 6-28 May 2017.
