Brighton Palace Pier is the most-visited free tourist attraction after places in London; namely, the British Museum, the National Gallery and the Tate Modern.
In 2016 around 4,650,000 came to Brighton’s biggest landmark.
The survey carried out by VisitBritain found that gardens and zoos saw the biggest rise in visitors.
The Annual Attractions Survey looked at over 1,500 English Landmarks and found that outdoor attractions, whether that be coastal attractions or castles and gardens did particularly well.
Brighton Pier is open 7-days a week, from 9am to 10pm, so come down and check it out!
