Melted raclette, huge cheese wheels, gooey mozzarella sticks… Cheese lovers in Brighton can look forward to the latest addition to the city’s foodie festival calendar. The UK Cheese Fest will come to the Victoria Gardens the second weekend of August!
Organizers promise an incredible cheese experience, going far beyond a usual cheese festival. Of course, there will be a huge variety of different cheeses to try and buy from renowned UK traders, but what makes the event special is a range of hot and really exotic cheese dishes. Look out for rainbow cheese toasties, the latest sherbet cheese flavors, halloumi fries and life-changing mac ‘n’ cheese!
The Cheese Fest is the UK’s biggest touring cheese festival, transforming cities all over the country into one-day cheese paradises! The event in Brighton will be the first one of its sort and mark the launch of the Cheese Fest UK tour, with more festivals to follow in the course of the year, such as in Aberdeen, Portsmouth or Bristol.
Ever since its announcement, the festival has known a huge public interest. Over 1,100 people have announced their participation in the Brighton event on Facebook, another 5,000 are interested in going. The sister event in Portsmouth taking place in September is already sold out!
The Cheese Fest Brighton will take place on Saturday, 12th of August, in the Victoria Gardens. Tickets will go on sale next week on the Cheese Fest UK website.
