Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Knife Assault in Crawley

Police are appealing for witnesses to an attack on a taxi driver in Broadfield, Crawley.

The attack occurred on February 1st, somewhere between midnight and 1am, in Pelham Place, Broadfield, Crawley.

The suspect, armed with a knife, entered the taxi and demanded the driver give him money before an altercation occurred and the suspect ran off in the direction of Coachman’s Drive.

The suspect is described as a white man wearing a red puffer-style jacket.

A 34-year-old man from Brighton Road, Crawley, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and has since been released under investigation.
