Brighton’s first Soapbox Science will take place on Saturday the 29th of July, from 1-4pm.
Leading female scientists from across the South-East will be at Brighton’s seafront for the afternoon to answer questions and discuss, debate and demonstrate their research.
All STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine) topics will be covered.
This offers a way for the public to understand the great work female scientists are doing and how their research is impacting our lives.
The event is free so head down to the seafront where the University of Sussex is hosting the 12 STEMM women.
