If you ever wanted to know what it’s like to live in “The Brady Bunch” house, you can now do so for $5.5 million. A newly published listing of the actual house used on the popular 1970s sitcom reveals that the house has been completely renovated to look like the actual set of the show.
Located in Studio City, California, the house last sold in 2018 for $3.5 million and was almost bought by former NSYNC star Lance Bass.
A video showing the home shows the renovations nearly identical to the look of the popular show. Complete with orange countertops in the kitchen, wood paneling in the den and a backyard swing set, fans of the show will notice many details that a casual observer might overlook.
The 5,140-square-foot home has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, carpet and tile floors, a laundry area, central air, a detached two-car garage, and plenty of ’70s decor. Some of the appliances and furnishings are only decorative, including the fireplace.
“The Brady Bunch” aired 177 episodes over five seasons from 1969 through 1974. It has also spawned a handful of movies and TV specials.
Interested buyers of the infamous home must schedule a tour of the property and provide proof of financing prior to taking a tour, According to the property listing.
