NASA's SpaceX Crew-8 spacecraft once again postpones its launch due to adverse weather conditions. It was scheduled to take place on Saturday 2nd March but has now been rescheduled for Sunday 3rd March. The launch had to be postponed from its originally scheduled date of Friday, March 1 due to weather.
Initially, NASA and SpaceX were targeting 11:16 PM EDT on Saturday for the launch of a Falcon 9 rocket scheduled to carry the four Crew-8 members aboard the Dragon Endeavor capsule from pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center. It is now moved to Sunday at 10:53 PM ET.
Before the mission was officially cancelled, the Space Force's 45th Weather Squadron had already indicated that weather conditions were not favorable, and put the odds of “launch to launch” conditions at 40 percent, citing threats of rain, cumulonimbus clouds, and a moderate to high risk of bad conditions.
