Ben Rice had a day to remember in the New York Yankees’ big win over the Boston Red Sox.

Not seasoned Ben Rice had a memorable day as he hit three home runs in the New York Yankees’ huge 14-4 win. Wins Against the Boston Red Sox on Saturday.

According to Elias Sports Bureau, Rice is the first rookie ever to hit three home runs in a single game. Game For the Yankees.

“It’s a day I’ll never forget,” Rice said after the game, according to MLB.com. “I’m so happy because it was a big win for us, and a good win against my hometown team. So it’s great.”

The 25-year-old rookie got the Yankees off to a perfect start when he launched a huge home run to right field at the end of the first inning.

“What a game, and obviously in the midst of what we’re going through, we came out and set the tone right away in the first inning with a home run and then had kind of a legendary day,” New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters after the game about Rice’s big day.

Rice hit three home runs in his team’s 14-4 win over the Red Sox.

In the fifth inning, Rice added more points by scoring three runs to give the Yankees a 10-4 lead.

Rice then capped off his stunning performance in the seventh inning as he crushed his third walk of the day and his second three-run home run.

“He scored three goals in one day – something he will never forget, and probably the people watching him here will never forget,” added Boone.

After scoring his third goal of the day, Rice was shown the way by his more experienced teammates, who led him off the field to address the cheering crowd at Yankee Stadium.

Rice took off his helmet and waved to the adoring crowd watching their rising star as the game concluded, capping off an extraordinary performance that saw him become only the third rookie in Major League Baseball history to hit three home runs from a home run.

“Honestly, it all happened so fast,” Rice said, according to MLB.com. “I think I was still in a bit of a trance after hitting a home run. I was walking down the field and then I heard everyone yelling at me to do something. I didn’t even know what they were talking about, but as they slowly led me down the stairs, I was like, ‘Man. This is over. This is pretty cool.’”
