A Boeing 777 was forced to make an emergency landing Wednesday evening at Los Angeles International Airport after reports of a possible mechanical problem.

While there have been some reports of a tire blowout, American Airlines officials will only say that AA Flight 345, which was arriving from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, landed safely at Los Angeles International Airport at approximately 8:45 p.m. The pilot reported a “possible mechanical problem” before landing.

The plane, according to an AA spokesperson, was able to taxi onto the runway after landing and all passengers were able to disembark safely at the jet bridge.

There were no reports of injuries among passengers or crew members.

The emergency landing comes just one week before a United Airlines plane flying from San Francisco to Osaka, Japan, had to be diverted to Los Angeles after losing a tire during takeoff.

UA 35, carrying 235 passengers, 10 flight attendants and 4 pilots, departed San Francisco International Airport at 11:23 a.m.

Sister station KTLA KRON4 obtained the footage The tire fell from the left landing gear of the plane and landed in the parking lot used by airport employees. Many vehicles were damaged, according to KRON4.

The flight was diverted to Los Angeles International Airport, where Sky5 helicopter footage showed the Boeing 777 landing without incident at 1:27 p.m. and being immediately surrounded by emergency crews.
