The tech giant's wireless earbuds are a competitive alternative to AirPods, and are on sale for 30% off
Apple may lead the way in wireless earbuds with its best-selling AirPods, but Google isn't far behind these days with its popular Pixel Buds. First unveiled in 2017, Google is now four generations into its wireless earbuds, which offer a competitive alternative to the AirPods at a lower price.
Case in point: You can get the Google Pixel Buds Bro wireless earbuds for just $139 right now on Amazon. That's 30% off and the cheapest price we've seen all year for these name-brand buds.
The Pixel Buds Pro come in a number of different colors, including charcoal black, bright blue, “mist” gray, and an off-white AirPods-style finish. In our opinion, they're more comfortable than the AirPods, too. This is thanks to the Google Buds' over-ear design, which hugs the crevices of your ears to form a tight seal, rather than dangling from them. Three different ear tip sizes are included to help you find the best fit for you.
Audio-wise, the Pixel Buds deliver surprisingly detailed sound from their built-in 12mm dynamic drivers. Pairing is very easy via Bluetooth, and the earbuds are great for listening to music and taking calls. Google's Adaptive Sound technology will automatically adjust the volume as you move between quiet and loud environments, so the music stays consistent and doesn't interrupt. These are also noise-cancelling earbuds, with built-in Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology.
Get up to 11 hours of listening time on a single charge, and up to 31 hours with the included charging case — better battery life than AirPods. Google Buds are water and sweat resistant, making them great for working out and running.
While a new pair of AirPods will currently run you into the $200 range online, you can get Google Pixel Buds on sale for just $139 here. We love using them at work and in our tests, and they're great for travel too, packing enough power to get you the distance or a long flight.
But don't take our word for it: The Google Pixel Buds Pro are one of the best-reviewed Google earbuds online, with more than… 70% of shoppers give a full five-star rating. See full details here.
