With the highly anticipated premiere of Greta Gerwig Barbie Now that we’re just a few weeks away, it seems no one is immune to the Barbecue craze — not even Kate Middleton.
On Wednesday, the Princess of Wales stepped out for a royal engagement at the Young V&A Children’s Museum in London looking like she could make a cameo in the movie as the big royal Barbie. While outing, Middleton wore a light pink midi dress (one of her silhouettes) that featured slightly puffed sleeves, a buttoned-up cut-out, a cinched waistband paired with white heels and simple dangling earrings. She also seemed to channel Barbie in the glamor department, borrowing the doll’s simple no-makeup makeup look and styling her hair in voluminous waves with a side part.
Not only did Middleton look like a Barbie while out and about, but she also fulfilled one of Barbie’s most important duties: making kids smile. During her visit to the museum, the Princess was shown a variety of exhibits by a group of children ranging in age from newborn to 14 before spending some time chatting with some of the children and their parents.
This isn’t the only Barbie-approved character Kate has been interacting with lately: a few days ago, she embodied the spirit of tennis star Barbie when she took to the court with champ Roger Federer ahead of the 2023 Wimbledon Championships. For the occasion, the princess wore a white polo shirt, matching tennis skirt, and white tennis shoes She pulled her hair up into a high ponytail to complete the look.
