Producer John Landau’s memories continued Sunday, including a memory of Titanic Star Leonardo DiCaprio.
Landau, the Oscar-winning producer of the film Titanic And symbol pictureAmerican actor Michael Flynn died on Saturday at the age of 63, sparking a wave of memories among many of his friends and colleagues.
DiCaprio released his statement today.
“John was an incredibly kind, wise and compassionate person who wanted nothing more than to make a positive impact on anyone or anything he came in contact with. His legacy and leadership will live on forever. My deepest condolences to his entire family. Rest in peace; you will be greatly missed.”

Last night, DiCaprio Titanic Co-star Kate Winslet shared her memories of Landau.
“John Landau was the kindest and best of men.”

“He was a man of immense compassion and exceptional support and nurturing of teams of exceptional creative people,” she adds.
“His strength in life was his understanding of the importance of family, both at home and at work,” Winslet continued.
