Let’s check the standings in the WWE NXT Championship round

Let’s check the standings in the WWE NXT Championship round

Last week, WWE NXT kicked off the first round of the World Heritage Invitational tournament. Eight competitors are divided into two groups, and will face off against the other three men in their group. In each match, the winner gets two points, the loser gets nothing, and in the event of a tie, each of them gets one point. The group leaders will then face a single-elimination match on 26 September with a shot at Noam Dar for the Heritage Cup during 30 September. No Mercy PLE on line.

After two episodes of NXT with two matches each and one match level up Last Friday, all but one of the competitors wrestled in at least one match in the tournament. On the September 5 NXT, Nathan Frazier recovered from a loss to Joe Coffey the previous Tuesday. The Jersey boy (from the British Channel Islands, not the US state) beat Duke Hudson, who got two points when he took on Akira Tozawa last Friday. level up.

We also got our first GHI draw last night, when… smack downButch and Axiom were unable to get a pin or submission within the 12-minute time limit.

Since only Tyler Bate did not participate in any matches in the tournament, this gives us the following order:

Group A

Butch: 3 points (1-0-1)
Axiom: 1 (0-0-1)
Tyler Bate: 0 (0-0)
Charlie Dempsey: 0 (0-1)

Group B

Joe Coffey: 2 points (1-0)
Nathan Fraser: 2 (1-1)
Duke Hudson: 2 (1-1)
Akira Tozawa: 0 (0-1)

Coffey & Tozawa will be playing Level Up on Friday (the episode was recorded last night, but we won’t spoil it for you). Pat will finally step in when he confronts Axio
