Mario & Luigi: Brothership has recently gone live and while we’ve already seen a fair amount of gameplay footage, one thing Nintendo hasn’t properly showcased yet is the game’s box art. Yes, it has been featured in listings here and there, but now in the latest update it has been officially revealed via social media.
As you can see, the iconic duo, a new character named Snoutlet and a bit of the world Mario and Luigi are about to explore, known as Concordia, appear. A blank background similar to Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey also returns. As Nintendo noted, pre-orders for this game have also gone live.
An official image of Mario in this new adventure has also been shown:
In case you missed our initial coverage, in this new adventure, Mario and Luigi will apparently be “working the deck” as they embark on an island-hopping adventure in the world of Concordia with the help of Shipshape Island (“part ship, part ‘island'”).
While Nintendo has not revealed the developer behind this latest entry in the Mario & Luigi series, a company representative recently confirmed that some of the original team will be involved in this new project. Mario & Luigi: Brothership is coming to Switch in November.
