Mortal Kombat 1 revealed two new fighters at Gamescom Night Live’s opening ceremony

At Gamescom Opening Night Live, NetherRealm revealed that four more characters have joined the Mortal Kombat 1 roster. The two new playable fighters are Sindel and General Shao, while the two new kameo characters are Motaro and Shujinko.

The news includes the latest trailer for the upcoming fighting game that showcases the bone-crushing action of both new playable fighters.

Sindel and General Shao are the latest characters to be revealed in the upcoming reboot of the Mortal Kombat series. Other characters revealed ahead of Mortal Kombat 1’s September 14 release date include returning players Reptile, Geras, Sektor, Frost, Scorpion, Li Mei, Liu Kang, Mileena, Quan Chi, Smoke, Sub-Zero, as well as confirmed Homelander and Peacemaker. , and Omni-Man join the roster as the first wave of DLC characters.

The Mortal Kombat 1 pre-order beta officially launched on Xbox and PS5 on Friday and ended on Monday. Of course, the return of favorite Johnny Cage was an instant highlight thanks to his oversized ensembles and surprise sunglasses.
