As we get closer to the official launch of the Galaxy S24 lineup, it’s no surprise to see leaks picking up pace alongside spoiling everything Samsung plans to show off at its next Unpacked event.
Leaked images and renders of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra over the past few weeks have given us a good idea of what we can expect in terms of design from all three models. In the latest leakwe will see the Galaxy S24 Ultra in the flesh next to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, revealing the differences in their design.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra comes with some minor design changes
As the images show (the black one is the S24 Ultra), the overall design is very similar and Samsung has only made a few changes. The downward-facing speaker opening is one of the most noticeable changes, and at the top, there are now two speaker/microphone holes instead of just one.
Samsung has also flattened the bottom of the S Pen, which may make pressing down on the S Pen so that it pops up a little more annoying. The volume buttons feel a bit larger, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s bezel is a bit small as Samsung made the screen slightly less curved on the Ultra model.
Speaking of the frame, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will use titanium instead of aluminum, as has been confirmed by several rumors over the past few months. There’s no visible indication of that in these photos, and even in the real world the hand feel will be the main indicator that the phone has a titanium frame.
The source of these images also indicates details such as the battery capacity and the number of megapixels of the primary camera, both of which will remain unchanged compared to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. In fact, a lot of specifications will remain unchanged in Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S lineup, some of which may frustrate hardcore fans.
