It’s been more than three years since HBO released a new season of real detectivenick piezoLatto True Crime Anthology that captured the zeitgeist. And while we may be 8 years away by now from the ubiquitous “time is a flat circle” jokes, breathless appreciation of gritty tracking footage, and frantic attempts to associate the franchise with Cthulhu mythos, the series maintains some mystery — not least because of the action. Performed by Mahershala Ali and colleagues on the inconsistent, but interesting, program for the third time in 2019
Now it looks like the series might be back, With one of Ali’s old lieutenants at the helm. Delivery time Reports HBO is apparently preparing for a revival, or possible spin-off, of the series – presumably titled Real Detective: Night Country– which will be headed Tigers are not afraid Writer/Director Issa Lopez and moon lightBarry Jenkins.
