It’s a shame fans never got to see this sequel by Computer Artworks and Black Label Games The thing, but we’re getting the next best thing with a remaster of the original game, thanks to Nightdive Studios! Nightdive Studios was created in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences Thing: Remastered Digitally on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch later this year.

A faithful recreation of the classic 2002 third-person survival horror shooter, Nightdive brings the game up for the modern era with its KEX engine for play on current-gen consoles, including 4K resolution at 120 frames per second. Thing: Remastered It will also feature updated character models, textures and animations, while implementing advanced 3D rendering for updated lighting and atmospheric effects.
