Pokémon Developer Game Freak has been reported to have been hacked, leaking massive amounts of data

It appears that Pokémon developer Game Freak has been hacked, and that appears to be the case It resulted in a large amount of data – From the source code to details of the future project – leaked online.

Nintendo also mentioned it allfeatured source code for DS titles such as Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver as well as Black and White 2.

It is also believed that some codenames for the Generation X Pokemon games have been discovered. This new generation is referred to as “Gaia(including ‘K’ and ‘N’ versions) and is believed to be the successor to the Switch (codenamed ‘ounce(according to this leak) is the target platform, although there could be tests for the current Switch platform as well.

Pokemon Legends: ZA is said to be known internally as “IkkakuThe development is believed to be “already completed”.

There also appears to be some evidence of a Pokémon title codenamed “”ClampWhich was supposedly a collaboration with another developer. Aside from this, a bunch of Unused experimental designs for Pokémon Pixel art From multiple generations, they are starting to appear on social media and elsewhere online.

Pokemon Legends: ZA is the next project from Game Freak and was officially announced earlier this year in February. The initial trailer for the game confirmed that the game will be set in Lumiose City and will be arriving on “Nintendo Switch systems” in 2025. Based on these leaks, it appears to be a “regular Switch game.”

Nintendo (which has hosted Pokémon games on its platforms for nearly three decades now) has previously been hit with some of the same massive leaks, including the infamous “Gigaleak” that saw numerous projects, games, and source code leaked.
