Have you ever wondered what you’d get if you mixed a top-down version of Destiny 2 with Diablo, sprinkled in SimCity, a little Tropico 6, and finished with a touch of Fallout Shelter? If so, you are not alone. Team Miaozi, a diverse group of computer game industry veterans from 15 different countries, made up of key members from teams responsible for games such as Total War: Three Kingdoms, Age of Wonders 3, the Far Cry series, Halo Wars 2, and Sea of thieves, and more. Founded in 2019, Team Miaozi has spent the past 3 years developing the upcoming game Cygnus projects. This single-player sci-fi game combines the elements of Action RPG and City Management on a small scale, all set in a distant future with stunning visuals and vibrant colors, creating a world ripe for exploration.

in Cygnus projectsIn it, you play as a troubleshooting contractor tasked with reviving an abandoned outpost on the distant planet Mytilus. Humanity’s great aspirations for space exploration died, until Cygnus Enterprises found a way to make a ship capable of traveling faster than light, allowing access to Earth-like planets throughout the galaxy. Once hired, you are put in charge of an outpost on an alien planet and given responsibility for constructing buildings, collecting materials, manufacturing and selling, and managing other Cygnus Enterprises employees. But it’s not just about building cities and managing resources. You will also need to deal with strange creatures, find hidden treasures, and explore strange structures to get the resources required to make your site thrive.

Early Access will contain no less than 12 hours of playable content to complete the main story, including 18 incredibly detailed story missions. And since the game has been designed as a sandbox ARPG, players will be able to continue their exploration, character development, and take on various missions after the main story is over. The Miyawazi team also promised to expand the game with “Major patches to free content in the months following Early Access. One of the unique elements of Cygnus Projects is its deliberate focus on choosing a more positive and uplifting atmosphere, rather than a dark, dystopian future. The game is expected to receive an E Everyone +10 rating at launch.

The game has a mixture of top-down shooting action, base building, staff management, and crafting, balanced to keep things fresh and engaging. Exploring exotic exotic locations and defeating enemies, creating a busy trading post, managing employee morale to ensure your position thrives, increasing your power through looting, research and crafting better equipment are all part of your Cygnus Enterprises journey.

Players will need to craft weapons, armor, food, and building materials to improve their base by harvesting and processing raw resources from all over the planet. All weapons, outfits, and gear have unique designs that are distinct and visual in the player character.

The Miyawazi team and publisher NetEase Games can’t wait for gamers to see what it’s been like over the past three years. Cygnus projects will be available at PC (Steam) Through early access on December 16 this year.
