Terrified Teens Spot ‘Glowing Eyes’ Bigfoot in Kisatchie National Forest

A group of terrified teenagers called police in a panic after claiming to have encountered a Bigfoot-like creature with “glowing eyes,” officials said.

Recent high school graduates from Huima in southern Louisiana were camping in the Kisatchie National Forest — about 100 miles northwest of Baton Rouge — when they reported the frightening encounter last week, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

They recalled seeing a large animal resembling Bigfoot shortly after setting up camp about a mile and a half off the Back Bone Trail in southern Natchitoches Parish, according to police.

Around 9:20 p.m. on June 28, one of the group members — all between the ages of 17 and 18 — called 911 after they “heard a roar and saw what appeared to be an animal with glowing eyes and about 5 feet long.” The sheriff’s office said.

Deputies responded to the scene and headed to the camp, on alert for any mythical creatures.

They followed the sound of sirens to the campground and found the teens scared but safe. Deputies escorted them safely out of the woods.

Despite a thorough investigation, deputies “were unable to identify any suspicious activity involving a 5-foot-tall, glowing-eyed roar,” the sheriff’s office said.

They congratulated the young people on their graduation and wished them success in their future.

This is not the first time Bigfoot has been sighted in the Kisatchie National Forest.

In 2019, two Bigfoot researchers, who gave their names only as “Tex La” and “Cloud” to avoid ridicule, claimed to have visual and audible evidence of the strange creature in the dense 600,000-acre forest.

The couple left camouflaged cameras and audio devices in the trees to record hours of footage and recordings — including loud howls — which they later studied and analyzed. The local newspaper Town Talk reported:.

They also claimed to have seen footprints and signs of Bigfoot, such as twisted tree branches.

“That’s the thing. If you choose to believe, that’s great. If you choose not to believe, that’s great, too,” Tex-La said.

“It’s something you have to approach with an open mind,” he added.

In October, a couple on a romantic getaway captured video of a creature believed to be Bigfoot roaming in broad daylight in Colorado.

Shannon and Stetson Parker were enjoying a sightseeing tour on the narrow-gauge railroad between Durango and Silverton in the far southwest of the state when they photographed the creature.

This large, ape-like creature, also known as a Sasquatch, has roots in Native American folklore and has been reported by European settlers since the 19th century.

“Those who claim to have seen Bigfoot have described everything from a large, upright ape to a real hairy human, sometimes over eight feet tall and described as being burly,” National Guard Books in Washington In a post about the legend.

“The discussion and research are ongoing,” she added.
