European retailers begin listing the RTX 40 SUPER series

UK and Finland retailers are listing the dedicated RTX 40 SUPER series, revealing the massive price tags for the high-end RTX 4080 models.

Over at OverclockersUK, they have the RTX 4070 SUPER lineup covered with five options, while the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and RTX 4080 SUPER models add up to nine in total for the RTX 40 SUPER series. OCUK tends to ride on the more expensive side, but thanks to NVIDIA pushing 'MSRP' models, even it has to play with it. However, the MSRP magic only shines on two cards in the OCUK set.

The RTX 4070 SUPER is priced between £579 and £690. If you're eyeing the white DUAL OC version from ASUS, you'll need to drop £690, which is £90 more than its RRP. However, for budget-conscious gamers, there is a black version available, saving you £40 in the process.

GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12GB MSRP: $599 / €659 / £579

  • Zotac Twin Edge: £578.99
  • Zotac Trinity Black: £599.99
  • Asus dual: £599.99
  • Asus Dual Oak: £649.99
  • ASUS DUAL OC white: £689.99

Now, shifting gears to the RTX 4070 Ti, one can't see any NVIDIA MSRP deals here. The entry ticket for the 4070TiS SKU is owned by Trinity OC Black from ZOTAC, and is priced at £780, just £10 above the MSRP. If you're concerned about aesthetics, its white counterpart will set you back an extra £20.

The base line of ASUS's lineup is set by TUF OC, and commands £900, and surprisingly its white version follows suit at the same price point. ASUS sure knows how to keep things consistent, even if it means a slight hit to your wallet.

Looking at the RTX 4080 SUPER scene, there's the Trinity OC Black at £959. And if you're a fan of the all-white GPU aesthetic, there's a version for an extra £60. Meanwhile, the ASUS TUF OC is comfortably priced at £1,200. However, that's nothing compared to the ROG STRIX which asks a whopping £1,350. No surprises there; ROG STRIX has a reputation for being expensive, but did anyone at OCUK or ASUS miss the memo about the 17% discount for the SUPER edition?

Now, those of you looking forward to the RTX 4080 SUPER in Finland, let's take a look at some information from retailer Jimmy's. Here one should note that Finland has a higher MSRP than most Eurozone countries due to its higher VAT. Which in the case of the RTX 4080 SUPER means a price of 1,149 euros, not 1,109 euros as one might see in Germany or France. The most expensive card here is Gigabyte's AORUS MASTER which takes the crown as the most expensive at €1,360, up over 18% above the NVIDIA MSRP. MSI's SUPRIM
