The Best Carol Services on in Brighton this Christmas

The Best Carol Services on in Brighton this Christmas
Florence Dutton

Stuck for inspiration of fun and festive activities to participate in this December? Why not attend one of Brighton’s many carol services in the run up to Christmas? Whether it’s to dust off your singing voice and attempt those seriously low notes in ‘Good King Wenceslas’ or simply listen to some beautiful renditions of your favourite Christmas songs, we’ve got a selection of Carol services on in Brighton to do just that.

Christmas carolling is a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation. The meaning behind a Christmas carol (also called a noël, from the French word meaning “Christmas”) is a carol (song or hymn) whose lyrics are on the theme of Christmas, and which is traditionally sung on Christmas itself or during the surrounding holiday season. Traditionally religious, carols can be sung to spread Christmas cheer and create a sense of community spirit. Here’s a selection of the top carol services on in Brighton that you won’t want to miss this festive holiday.
