We’re now just days away from the launch of the Google Pixel 9 series, and the leaks are continuing – with the latest pointing to a rather tempting offer from the carrier that would double the amount of phone storage you get for your money.
As spotted by serial detective Roland QuandtIn a terms and conditions page that appears to have been posted early, UK network operator Vodafone will be offering a deal to double your storage for free on Pixel 9 phones for a limited time.
This means the 256GB version sells for the price of the 128GB version, the 512GB version sells for the price of the 256GB version, and so on. This appears to apply to the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
While those of us who aren’t in the UK and on the Vodafone network probably shouldn’t get too excited, there’s at least a chance these deals could pop up on other carriers in other countries – giving you more Pixel for your money.

The same leak also reveals that the Google Pixel Pro XL will come with up to 1TB of internal storage, which we’ve heard from previous rumors as well. It looks like the Pixel 9 will come with 256GB and the other two phones in the quad will come with 512GB.
With these devices (and the Pixel Watch 3) set to be unveiled on Tuesday, August 13, there’s not much left to leak about these devices — from internal specs to the colors we can expect to see them in.
We’ve written about everything you can expect from the Pixel 9 launch, and we’ll likely get some news about Android 15 and possibly more Gemini AI features at the big reveal event next week.
You can follow along on TechRadar , and there will be a live stream you can watch too. It all starts at 10am PST / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST, which is 3am AEST on August 14. If you think you’ll be tempted to buy, you may have to pay a little more than last year.
