The Google Store now sells refurbished Pixel phones

The Refurbished Phone section of the Google Store has been empty for a few years now, but that’s changing today with the Certified Refurbished Phone Program for Pixel 6 and later in the US.

A Certified Refurbished Pixel Battery, cameras, housing and screens are carefully checked for defects.

If any phone needs repair, our technicians use only genuine Google parts to perform the repairs.

However, Google does not give a new battery to every refurbished phone by default, just in case there is a problem. In comparison, Samsung and Apple automatically add a new battery.

Google will also pre-install the latest version of Android and package it in a new, 100% plastic-free box, like modern devices, which specifically includes a charger. It also comes with a one-year limited warranty and customer support, while shipping and returns are free. Google Store financing is also available (0% APR for up to 36 months).

Overall, Google says, “the result is a Pixel phone that is as close to new as possible.”

The Google Store is offering a deeper discount of up to 40% off the original retail price. Apple Certified renewal The program only reaches 15%. yet, The following devices (All 128GB models) dating back to 2021 will be offered:

The revamped Certified Phone program is part of Google’s “efforts to continue our sustainability goals, including reducing e-waste.” The Google Store first launched its revamped section in 2019 for the Pixelbook and Google Wifi devices before expanding to include other Nest products and the Pixel 3.
