Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Marvel Studios’ latest Black Panther movie has been unveiled in a new poster.

Posted on Twitter, the poster unveils Shuri Letitia Wright as the newest hero to take on the mantle of the Black Panther. Shuri assumed Black Panther’s identity Wakanda forever After the death of King T’Challa, played by the late Chadwick Boseman in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Wright has portrayed Shuri, the younger sister of Boseman’s T’Challa/Black Panther, in the MCU since 2018 Black Panther. The first teaser trailer for Wakanda forever It introduced Tenoch Huerta as Namor the Sub-Mariner, Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams / Ironheart, and also teased a new hero to take up the mantle of Black Panther. The identity of the new Black Panther remained unknown until the film’s theatrical release, though there was speculation that Wright would be the one under the mask. A new Black Panther enters the MCU

In a previous interview, Wright revealed that she discussed portraying the titular hero early in her Marvel career with director Ryan Coogler and Boseman. “I talked about it with Ryan and Chad when we were talking Black Pantherand we touched it briefly,” she said when asked if Shuri would take over Black Panther Cloak, as in Marvel Comics. “When I realized I was playing Shuri, it was something I was really looking forward to.”
