Sonos is a big name in the audio world, and many Engadget employees are big fans. However, one thing you will notice about their speakers is that they rarely go on sale. It is what makes the company Black Friday sale Particularly convincing. Sonos speakers and soundbars are up to $180 off right now, at Sonos’ own storefront and across other retailers. We’re seeing discounts on home theater products of up to 20 percent, and portable speakers of up to 25 percent. Many packages containing multiple speakers are also on sale. These offers are available until Cyber Monday, also known as November 27th.
Sonos Era 100

The Era 100 is arguably the company’s everyday speaker, and it’s currently $50 off.
The Sonos Era 100 is our pick for the best midrange speakers ever Priced at $199, it’s $50 off for Black Friday. We gave the Era 100, which debuted earlier this year to replace the Sonos One, a score of 88 in our review. You won’t always find Bluetooth and line-in support (although you’ll need an adapter for that) on Sonos devices, so it’s great that it’s included here. You can use the built-in microphones to adjust the sound output of the room.
Unfortunately, there’s no Ethernet jack or Google Assistant integration—the latter doesn’t pose a problem if you connect the Era 100 to another Assistant-enabled smart speaker. We also found that there was no true stereo separation in a single speaker. So, if you can swing two units, this might be the way to go. You can pair them for stereo playback and with other Sonos devices for a richer home theater or whole-home audio experience.

The Sonos Roam, our pick for the best portable speaker, is $45 off for Black Friday.
The Roam portable speaker is also on sale. It’s down from $179 to $134. The Roam is smaller than the Move (it weighs less than a pound). At this price point, it’s more competitive with many portable Bluetooth speakers. The Roam received a score of 87 in our review, with durability, waterproofing and sound quality proving to be plus points. If you can buy two Roam units that you can pair together, even better. However, at around 10 hours, battery life wasn’t stellar in our tests and the Roam isn’t the loudest portable speaker out there. This is an important consideration when it comes to outdoor parties. However, the Sonos Roam is our top pick for the best portable smart speaker.
Sonos Beam Gen 2

The second generation Sonos Beam is a premium soundbar that brings Dolby Atmos to your home theater system.
Speaking of home theaters, if that’s the type of setup you’re looking for, you might want to opt for a Sonos speaker as well. The Sonos Beam includes Dolby Atmos sound in its second iteration, which is a huge improvement over the first generation because it has a more immersive sound. Even though it doesn’t have the Atmos drivers that fire upwards, the Beam Gen 2 sounds very good. Sonos Arc

If you’re looking for a more premium speaker experience, the Sonos Arc may be of interest to you. There are advanced speakers Dropped from $899 to $719. We gave the Arc a score of 85 in our review, praising its excellent sound and adaptability in terms of how it accounts for different types of content and other connected speakers. The cylindrical design gives the speaker a modern look as well. As with the Beam, you won’t be able to connect all your devices directly to the bracket, since there’s only one HDMI input. However, it’s our second pick for the best premium speakers after the Sony HT-A7000.

If you’re looking to add some minimalism to your Sonos setup, consider the Sub Mini, which is $86 off for Black Friday.
It may be that you’re looking to enhance your current minimal Sonos setup. If so, it’s worth considering the Sonos Sub Mini. The built-in subwoofer can Be it all yours for $343 During the Black Friday sale. It’s down from $429. We gave the Sub Mini a score of 87 in our review. It offers great bass output for its size. Unfortunately, it’s not compatible with portable Sonos products, like the Move and Roam, but it pairs easily with the company’s wired speakers. As such, the Sub Mini is a great addition to home theater setups in apartments and small homes.
