The Unpackd leaks have started, and it seems that no matter how hard Samsung tries to plug the leaks, new ones are popping up. The latest bits of information relate to the upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 series of smartwatches. The official design appeared in leaked renders late last week, and now information about pricing has surfaced.
Samsung plans to sell the Galaxy Watch 6 in two sizes and color variants. The 40mm model will be available in graphite and cream, while the 44mm will be in graphite or silver. Here’s what they’ll cost:
- 40 mm Galaxy Watch 6 (Bluetooth): 319 euros
- 40 mm Galaxy Watch 6 (LTE): 369 euros
- 44 mm Galaxy Watch 6 (Bluetooth): 349 euros
- 44 mm Galaxy Watch 6 (LTE): 399 euros
As usual, the physical rotating frame commands a higher price
The Korean tech giant is also planning to revive its classic smartwatch series and release two Galaxy Watch 6 Classic models. It is said (trans DeLabs), they will be available in two color options, black and silver, with the following prices:
- Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 43mm (Bluetooth): 419 euros
- Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 43mm (LTE): 469 euros
- 47 mm Galaxy Watch 6 Classic (Bluetooth): 449 euros
- 47mm Galaxy Watch 6 Classic (LTE): $499
These prices are supposed to correspond to the Galaxy Watch 6 series in France, so if they’re accurate, there’s likely to be slight differences in other markets in Europe. And as always, swap offers and discounts will also depend on the market.
The new smartwatches will run a new version of the One UI Watch at launch, which Samsung has already confirmed will offer better fitness and sleep tracking. One UI Watch 5 is based on the Google Wear OS 4 update. Other watches, such as the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5, will get the update later after the Watch 6 series hits the market.
We expect Samsung To announce the Galaxy Watch 6 series in South Korea on July 27 at the Unpacked event that will also host the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Tab S9 lineup.
