What do you do if you're Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, and you find yourself in Portland with some extra time on your hands?
Create a TikTok video at Pioneer Place with Maya Rudolph, apparently.
Poehler and Fey were in Portland for their Restless Leg Tour, and Rudolph performed a skit on the Friday night show while Fey and Poehler played hosts of “SNL Weekend Update.” The Saturday afternoon show continued but the Saturday late show was canceled due to weather.
If you didn't attend a show, you probably saw them at Pioneer Place in downtown Portland — where they rode escalators and had a #meangirlsweekend, according to Poehler's TikTok video. Fey, of course, starred in and wrote the 2004 film “Mean Girls” and reprized her role in the 2024 film adaptation of the Broadway musical that was adapted from the 2004 film. Still with Me?
Did they see the movie at Regal Pioneer Place in Portland this weekend? TikTok isn't clear on that, but it will track it.
Here is the video:
If you have tickets to Saturday night's Restless Leg show, a new date will be announced to ticket holders as soon as it is available, Moda Center announced. According to the announcement, all previously purchased tickets for the 7:30pm show will be honored at the new time or refunded for those who cannot attend.
That should give Fey and Poehler (and maybe Rudolph?) plenty of time to get to Washington Square or Clackamas Town Center if they also want to continue their tour of Portland-area malls.
