A ceremony celebrating the life of Keisha Nash, the ex-wife of actor Forest Whitaker, was held this weekend.
Forrest, 62, attended the ceremony with family members of the actress, producer and model, who died at the age of 51 on December 6 due to alcoholic liver disease.
The party was held at Brickroom LA in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, according to the people.
Her daughters Autumn, Sonette, and True were there, as well as her father, Geoffrey.
Celebrity friends John Travolta and Stevie Wonder were also in attendance.
Nash's ceramic urn was sitting on a mirrored stand. The room was filled with photos of her and her children and there was a candle display.

It was revealed last week that she died of alcoholic liver disease at the age of 51 in December.
Nash Whitaker, who suffered from anorexia for years, suffered from the disease — which occurs when the liver becomes severely damaged by excessive alcohol intake — for years before her death, her death certificate says. TMZ reveal.
Acute kidney failure – which can be caused by anorexia – was also listed as a significant contributing factor to her death. She died at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles County.
The former couple's daughter, True Whitaker, 25, confirmed the tragic news on her Instagram account last month, calling her “the most beautiful woman in the world” in a heartbreaking post, but did not explain the cause of death.
A source told DailyMail.com that Nash Whittaker died after being in and out of hospital over the past few months due to gastrointestinal problems, following a years-long battle with anorexia.
“Kesha has suffered from anorexia for years,” says a source. Forrest remained by her side during those difficult times, but filed for divorce the following year in 2015.
Whitaker and Nash have two daughters, Sunette, 27, and True, 25.
They remained friends and their divorce was amicable, but because Whittaker said his wife was “kind and funny and bright — and also a good mother to their children — there was no need not to remain friendly.”
Meanwhile, True's emotional post read: “Goodbye mom.
True posted a picture of her mother on her account: “I love you 4 forever and beyond.”
“The most beautiful woman in the world… Thank you for teaching me everything I know.” I will see you in my dreams and I will feel you in my heart.

One of the shades was named after her then-husband: “I wanted to name it something everyone could relate to.” Each shade is named after a man who gave someone I know their first kiss. I called it One Shade Forest, because I had never been kissed until I met him.
