Of course PRIDE is happening this weekend! Below I will list the official Pride activities and related events and then some completely unrelated things to do!

Saturday – Pride Festival

The Pride Summer of Love festival will be headlined by Pet Shop Boys! Becky Hill, Years and Years will also be performing to name a few! With a cabaret tent and the wild fruit dance tent alongside the MainStage and all the other things going on the festival is set to be the biggest and best yet! The Pride Pleasure Gardens within the city are the festivals other locations!

Saturday – Pride Community Parade

The parade will bring around 200,000 people to the streets of Brighton for the “Carnival of Diversity”. There will be floats, bands and lots of dancing! The parade will begin at 11am at Hove Lawns and end at Preston Park where the Pride Festival is held.

Saturday & Sunday – Pride Village Party

This party is a fundraiser along St James’s Street! The road will be closed off to traffic on Saturday from 18:00pm – Midnight and on Sunday from 15:00pm – 21:00pm because it will be filled with thousands of people!

Saturday & Sunday – Russell Howard: Round The World

The comedian will be at Brighton Dome this weekend with his world tour! The stand-up comedian has just performed in Wales and has been touring since February! To buy tickets click here.

Sunday – The Brighton Market

The Marina will have its monthly market this weekend. Selling crafts, food, produce and there will be free entertainment. Dogs are welcome so bring the whole family! Parking and entry is free and it is open from 11am til 4pm.

Sunday – Fireworks for Pride

This Sunday fireworks will be set off from Brighton Palace Pier in celebration of Pride. The organisers are recommending grabbing some doughnuts and heading down to the beach to watch! They will begin at 9:30pm.
