Ohio State: A person died after falling from the stands at the graduation ceremony

A person fell from the stands on the football field during Ohio State University’s graduation ceremony and died Sunday, university officials confirmed.

“It is unfortunate that someone fell from the bleachers and died,” Benjamin Johnson, a university representative, told CNN in an email on Monday, adding that the school had no additional details to share.

The identity of the deceased person is not yet known.
