Catch Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise in Max Raid Battles

sOkémon Day is upon us again, and you can celebrate it Pokemon Sword And the
Pokemon Shield By taking on the Gigantamax forms of some of your lovable Pokémon in Max Raid Battles. Even Feb 27 2022 at 3:59pm PST (It’s Pokémon Day!) Gigantamax Venusaur, Gigantamax Charizard, and Gigantamax Blastoise will all appear in Pokémon Dens. These Pokemon can be very challenging, but if you can catch or defeat them, you’ll get a Max Mushroom for your efforts!

To have a chance to face these Pokémon in a Max Raid battle, you’ll need to connect your Nintendo Switch system to the Internet through Y-Comm or by selecting unknown gift In the X menu, then select Get Wild Area News. Then, when you see a pillar of light shining from the Pokémon Den, walk up to the Pokémon Den and interact with it to start a Max Raid battle with the Dynamax Pokémon. Normally, there will be very little chance of a Gigantamax Pokémon appearing in place of a Dynamax Pokémon, but during an event, a Gigantamax Pokémon is more likely to appear. This event does not affect the Pokémon encountered in Dynamax Adventures.
