ATLANTA – Several people have been hospitalized after turbulence caused injuries during the flight.
According to a Delta Air Lines spokesperson, one of its flights experienced turbulence before landing at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Tuesday night.

“Delta Care team members mobilize to engage with customers aboard Delta Flight 175, which experienced severe turbulence, before landing safely in Atlanta on Tuesday,” the statement read.
Delta said 11 crew members and passengers were injured and taken to hospital.
Airport officials confirmed that none of the injuries were life-threatening.

Delta Air Lines Flight 175 has landed safely at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after crew reported severe turbulence about 40 miles northeast of the airport. The Airbus A350 departed from Milan, Italy.
It was a Milan to Atlanta flight with 151 passengers and 14 crew on board.
The extent of the injuries is unknown.
