Proto Inc. Contact Us To clarify, the Mario 3D image seen at CES was an incomplete proof of concept and was not intended for commercial use.

β€œThe 3D AI animation shown briefly today is an incomplete proof of concept that was tested for a customer to demonstrate technological capabilities and innovation. It is not intended for commercial release. AARP and Nintendo were not involved in today's unintended demonstration. The reality is that much “People have noticed that the players in the world are the best fans in the world and we salute them.”

So, it looks like no one was supposed to see it! At least we know that if a real-life Mario-themed hologram comes out in the future, it might be a little better than this.

Original article [Wed 10th Jan, 2024 09:45 GMT]:

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is in full swing in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it's the perfect opportunity for big companies to showcase some of the products and concepts that could make their way into your homes in the coming years (although there's already too much focus on AI for our liking). ).

We've already seen some really cool breakthroughs in technology, e.g New transparent microLED screen from Samsung A lunatic who defies gravity Robot window cleaner From Ecofax. However, something that has been making the rounds is a rather strange depiction of Mario via ProtoHologram and Target. Using hologram technology, attendees can talk to Mario directly, but the results are somewhat confusing…

Make sure it is Look Like Mario, but completely lacking his quirky characteristics. What on earth is this sound?! However, we're going to assume that Nintendo probably isn't involved in… whatever that is. It's a weird marketing technique, that's for sure, and it's not really getting us to rush toward the goal anytime soon.

However, as terrifying as it is, it's also kind of funny. We're not going to lie, we'll probably spend an absurd amount of time with this thing and see what ridiculous things we can get it to say.

But what do you people make of this weird and wonderful CES discovery? Is there anything else from the show that you feel needs to be shouted out? Let us know with a comment.
