Russian anti-aircraft defense shot down three missiles in Belgorod
Governor Vyacheslav Klatkov said today that Russian anti-aircraft defense forces shot down three missiles in the Belgorod region of Ukraine’s border.
“Our air defense system worked on Novi Oskol. Three missiles (were shot down),” the politician said on his Telegram channel.
He said a man sustained shrapnel injuries on his hand and shrapnel from the missiles damaged several facades and power lines in various villages.
The Russian region borders the Ukrainian province of Kharkov and has been the target of frequent attacks since the start of the Russian military campaign in Ukraine.
Moscow condemns Ukrainian shelling in Kursk region
Russia has condemned shelling by Ukrainian armed forces against a city in the Kursk region, in which energy supply facilities were damaged. The Russian region borders the Ukrainian province of Sumy and has been the target of frequent attacks since the start of Russia’s military campaign in Ukraine.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently shelling the border area in the Komudovsky District. Power supply facilities have been damaged,” Governor Roman Starovoit wrote on his Telegram channel. As a result of the attack, the village of Iskra lost power.
Earlier on Monday, Russian anti-aircraft defenses shot down three missiles in Novy Oskol, in the Belgorod region, bordering the Ukrainian province of Kharkov, injuring one person.
Russia says Ukraine is preparing to attack Zaporizhia

Russian Defense Minister visits Mariupol
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu inspects reconstruction work in Mariupol, the site of heavy fighting last year.
